70 Years Experience In Automation Products, Controls & System Integration

Plug Valves

Sanitary Plug Valves

Plug valves have been used in a wide variety of low pressure sanitary and industrial
applications. Two factors make them popular: versatility and a full unrestricted flow
that allows no product restrictions through the valve. Valtorc offers plug valves in both
two-way and three-way models in T304 and T316 materials. Clamp, weld and bevel
seat connections are standard. Stainless plugs are available in I" through 3" sizes.
Rubber plugs are available in 1", 11/2" and 2" sizes. Valtorc plug valves meet all 3A
requirements.

Sanitary Butterfly Valves

Our unique, patented clamp design permits quick disassembly without tools.
Manual, air actuated, and air actuated with two indicating switches
(Solenoid Valve 110V or 24V) are standard. Clamp or butt weld ends
are standard. Other connections are available upon request. Available seat
materials include Silicone, Viton, EPDM, and Buna-N. Sizes range from I"
through 4". All product contact surfaces are T316 material.

Sanitary Butt Weld Fittings

Sanitary butt weld fittings are used on permanent installations where
process piping and equipment can be cleaned in place (CIP) and
removal from the system is not required. Butt weld fittings are offered
in nominal tube sizes I" through 4" in T304 and T316L materials.
Uniform wall thickness for 1", 11/2", 2", 2 1/2" and 3" sizes measures .065 (16 ga).
In 4" size, wall thickness measures .083 (14 ga). Fractional and larger sizes
are available upon request.

Valtorc offers polished 1.D. and O.D. fittings for immediate shipment.
Other polished combinations may be ordered. Our sanitary butt weld
fittings meet all 3A requirements.

Sanitary Check Valves

Check valves are widely used for both sanitary and industrial applications
to prevent back flow of product. Valtorc's ball check valves are designed to
allow full product flow during processing. Once the product flow stops the
ball rolls back to seat at inlet, preventing back flow. Ball check valves are
commonly used with liquid products. Valtorc's spring check valves are
designed to assist closure pressure to create a positive shutoff. They are
commonly used with liquid products as well. Both valves are offered with clamp
and weld ends. Other connections are available upon request. Sizes range from
I" through 3" in T316L stainless steel.

Air Actuated Sanitary Valves

Air actuated process valves are used to automate systems. Valtorc offers process
valves in many different configurations with clamp and weld connections as standard.
Other connections are available upon request. These valves are offered in two-way
(shutoff) or three-way (divert) models. Valve stems have a replaceable Teflon o-ring seat.
One actuator fits all sizes and is offered in normally open or normally closed position.
Valve sizes range from 11/2" through 3" in T304 material.

1/4" to 4" Sanitary Ball Valves

  • Sizes 1/4 to 4 inch
  • Reduced & Full port
  • Stainless steel body and trim
  • 1-line or clamp end
  • Optional cavity fill

Clamp Fittings

Clamp style fittings are most popular for easy assembly and breakdown of
process lines and equipment. Valtorc offers clamp fittings in T304 and T316L
materials in I" through 4" sizes. Fractional, 6" and 8" sizes are available upon request.

Gaskets for clamp fittings are available in several different materials, with Buna-N
and Teflon as standards. Lightweight and heavy-duty clamps complete the unions.
Valtorc's clamp fittings meet all 3A requirements.

Unpolished Tube O.D. Weld Fittings

Unpolished tube 0.D. weld fittings are used in a wide variety of industrial applications
where sanitary finishes are not generally required. Valtorc's tumbled finish presents
a consistent uniform appearance.

Valtorc's unpolished weld fittings are offered in nominal tube sizes I" through 4" in
T304 and T316L materials. Uniform wall thickness for 1", 11/2", 2", 2 1/2", and 3"
sizes measures .065 (16 ga). In 4" size, wall thickness measures .083 (14 ga).
Fractional and larger sizes are available upon request.

Bevel Seat Fittings

Bevel seat fittings are used on process equipment and piping to ensure
rigidity of the system. Bevel seat unions consist of a threaded bevel ferrule
mated with a plain bevel ferrule. Both are offered in T304 and T316L materials.
Hex union nuts made of only T304 material are used to complete the union.
Gaskets for Valtorc's bevel seat unions are not required for positive shutoff;
however, gaskets may be purchased upon request.

Valtorc's bevel seat fittings meet all 3A requirements and are available
in I" through 4" sizes.
