| NEMA
4 and NEMA 7 |
|
This NEMA 4 and NEMA 7 rated electric actuator
is used for the automation
of all quarter-turn
valves where compressed air is either unavailable
or impractical.
The unit is available in various
voltages, features manual override and features
heavy-duty construction. Built of aluminum/epoxy,
the actuator offers options including extra
limit
switches, failsafe battery backup, and a
position
transmitter. |
| 1/4
to 125 Seconds Electric Actuators |
|
- NEMA-4 watertight enclosures are standard
- Unique adjustment plates permit fast, accurate
setting of travel limit switches
- Switch activating cams are independently
adjustable for maximum setting
flexibility
and accuracy
- A mechanical, visual output shaft position
indicator is standard
- Motor overload protector is built in
- Ideally suited for automated and computer-controlled
systems
- Units can be mounted and run in any attitude
- Accessible, clearly marked integral terminal
strip assures fast, easy wiring
- 50% duty cycle standard

| Microprocessor
Controlled Motor |
|
Microprocessor controlled motor guarantees
optimum voltage, current and torque
control
when starting, running or stopping valve rotation.
The microprocessor also
assures accurate valve
seating without any motor stall.
- Metering valves
- Needle valves
- Ball valves
- 90° to 20 turn actuator applications
- 1 to 21 in lbs seating torque
- 1 to 40 RPM
|
| 300
to 1200 lb-in Torque |
|
Powers on and off electronically. In the event
of a power loss, the actuator's built in spring
return
feature returns the output shaft to the
starting position in either a clockwise or counterclockwise
motion. Features an integral shock absorber
which graduates the speed of return of the output
shaft, thereby preventing possible damage to
valves and piping.
- Electric mode:10 to 30 seconds per 90°
- Spring return: 2 to 7 seconds per 90°
- Low maintenance and operating costs
|
| 600
to 150 lb-in Torque |
|
This electric actuator provides a complete
solution for valve automation in applications
requiring
600, 300, or 150 lb-in operating torque.
Quarter-turn operation times are 45, 13, 8,
and 4 seconds
respectively. Control applications
are not limited to on-off but also include
modulating
with digital
microprocessor control. Housed
in a compact package, this series
offers extremely
efficient
performance. The high strength spur
gears are permanently
lubricated for a lifetime
of
maintenance free operation.
- Control Options: On/Off
control - Linear analog control via 4-20mAdc
or 0-10VDC
control signalFeedback: Limit switch
